How to enable Registry Editor, if it is disabled by the malicious program.


Registry Editor is a very important component of Windows System. However it used by the expert users to configure Windows settings. But, sometimes it may be disabled by the malicious program and error message regarding disability is flashed.    
Solution:
We can enable Registry Editor by the following ways-

Step 1: Login as Administrative user account,

Step 2: Click Start-> Run and Type GPEDIT.MSC and Press Enter

Step 3: Go to User Configuration -> Administrative Templates-> System

Step 4: Find "Prevent Access to Registry Editing Tools" and double-click on it to change.

Step 5: Select Disabled or Not Configured and choose OK

Step 6: Close the Group Policy Editor and restart your computer

Step 7: Try opening REGEDIT again with Start->Run
