How to Enabled/Disable Folder option, if it is disabled by the malicious program.

Folder options (Available in Tools Menu in most of the Window) is required to hide or unhide files in the current folder. But sometimes it may be disabled by the Malicious programs.

Solution:

If the Folder option was accidently disabled or disabled by the Malicious program, you may enable it by the following way-

Step 1: Click on Start ->Run and Enter gpedit.msc in the Open box and click OK

Step 2: In the Group Policy settings window select

User Configuration->Administrative Templates->Windows Component -> Windows Explorer

Step 3: Double-click the Remove the Folder Option Menu Item From the Tools Menu

Step 4: Choose Enable or Disable and press OK
